Super West Tuesday

57th Birthday

First an foremost.  Shout out to my sister Carole, happy 57th birthday.  Hope today has been a great day.

Election Results

Well the March 22nd results are in folks:

Republicans first

Trump won Arizona in a winner take all for 58 delegates.
Cruz won Utah in a winner take all for 40 delegates.
Current trend.  Trump has 739 of the 1,237 he needs or 60% of the way.  Cruz has 465 or 37.5% of the number need.  There are 944 delegates left out.  Trump needs 498 more delegates to win outright or 53% of all the delegates left.  Teddy needs 772 more delegates to win outright or 82%.  That is a steep climb.

Democrats

The sad part here is Billary is on her way to being the nominee.  The Super delegate difference, 467 vs 26 is the glaring difference.  The current difference 1,681 vs 937 of 745 seems massive, but if you take the 441 difference in Super delegates away the difference is 304.  In my humble opinion that is the real difference between the two candidates.  So currently there are 2,147 delegates still out and the candidates need 2,383 to win the nomination.  Hillary has 1,681 and needs 702 or 32% of the delegates left.  Bernie has 937 delegates and needs 1,446 or 67% of the delegates left.  Not going to happen.  If you remove the super delegates the math changes and the nomination becomes interesting.  This nomination has all the makings of an insider (Billary) being nominated when Sanders appears to be the much more viable candidate.  We shall see.

Quick Note

If the Democrats end up with Clinton and someone other than Trump runs as the Republican, I can foresee a Republican president.  I do not think Clinton can beat any of the other candidates.  The polls support my view.  In addition, notice how Clinton has taken on Sanders trademark ideas.  A creature of poll whims.  No integrity.

Interesting Items

My nephew Tristan will be working this summer on Collaborative Filtering as an intern.  Had to do a little research.  Boils down to "I will like what other people like if I like this item".  The next door neighbor query from my old CS days.  How much stuff changes and remains the same.

Looking for Intern

Anyone want an Auburn Sophomore in business for a summer intern?  That summer between Freshman and Sophomore year is the worst.  I am not sure what to do.  Maybe someone can help, who knows.

Ending

Oil is over $40 and the world is turning.  That is all race fans.
