GOP : Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich
Is it just me or do you want to just cry when you look at the choices? I have been reading a lot about the the 4 last standing. Tomorrow should trim the competition to Trump and Cruz. If Rubio and Kasich pick up Florida and Ohio, each a winner take all state, the math gets very interesting. My problem will be the following scenarios:
Imagine Cruz Endorsement
Ted decides he cannot win. His star is fading, but he could still be the next Supreme court justice. The "TrusTed", sells what is left of his soul to the devil and endorses Trump. The payoff is spring of 2017 when he is nominated to the Supreme court by the new president. Now a lot has to happen for this to occur, but it is not that far fetched sport fans.
Imagine Hillary wins
Clinton wins a close contested race. The nation is divided, which is not that far fetched, and the House brings charges of Treason against the now President Elect. They find her guilty in a lower court, the Supreme court rules 4-4 letting the lower court standing hold. As a result she cannot take the Oath of office. Since she is not sworn into office, the Vice - President is not sworn into the office. This results in Paul Ryan being president of the USA, rules of succession from the 25th Amendment passed in 1967. President, Vice-President then Speaker of the House. Paul Ryan?
No-Winner
Ted Cruz wins the nomination. The Donald runs as an independent. He wins enough states to stop a clear person from winning the electoral college. The decision is thrown into the House for a fight. This results in someone like Mitt Romney etc being the possible president. Unknown but powerful power broker.
Final Note on Election
If the house has to make any decisions does it vote prior to after the new members are sworn in? Just wondering.
Spring Break
Well the Wise's are spread to two locations this Spring. Susan, Parker and Myself are in Austin on a Staycation. While my daughter is in the Bahama's. I am still trying to figure out how my Freshman at Auburn managed to get to the Bahamas. I think it must be my jealously.
Closing Notes
Oil
WTI and Brent Sea are up from last mention. Closing at 37.35/39.61. Over $10 up from last mention.
Aubrey McClendon
He was going almost 80 when he ran into the wall. If that was not suicide or murder I don't know what to think.
Ted Cruz
Bloomberg has a good article Can't stand him . Helps to understand. That with his wife saying Ted will bring the face of God to america. That is a bit scary, no?
Well that is all for today sports fans. Have a Happy PI day.
