   I don't mind that Rolling Stone endorsed Clinton, but the comments about Sanders.  Why not say why you support a candidate and leave it at that.  Has he lost touch with the youth of America.  There is a reason Sanders has struck a cord with them.  Maybe it has to do with integrity or authenticity.  Unlike Mrs. Bill, Sanders has held true to his view of what America should become.  It is that view, that "big picture" idealism that Ronald Reagan projected that made me vote for him in 1980.  I was an idealist 18 year old college student.  Reagan painted a grand view.  An America where one wanted to live.  Where we as a nation were looking forward into the future.  Instead of grubbily holding onto the past or to what we owned.  That is what these kids are hungry for today.  

   I ask you sports fans.  Would you like to move towards a vision of the future, or do you want to live in a knee jerk reactionary world?

    So the above paragraph states one of the major problems with the US today.  It is so easy to tear down an idea, my question to myself and to all of you out in cyberspace, what do you want to build? 

American Health Care Act

 If you don't like American Health Care Act, fine and dandy.  What do you purpose to do to solve the issue?  Tearing down something that has moved 20 million people from using the Emergency room as their primary care office has saved cities millions in billing that no longer occurs.  Have you notice the wait time at the ER is less.  There is a reason folks, it is not just improvements in the system, it is the system is no longer being over burdened by sick kids, ill parents etc...  The studies are pretty clear that $1 saves $7 on the back end.  Why are those numbers not included on the saving side?  Does not make good copy.

Abortion

    If you want to make abortion illegal, again fine and dandy, but do it through the law.  Have a national referendum and vote for it.  If it passes or fails, learn to live with the results.  

Death Penalty

    I am against the death penalty.  As the saying goes, eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.  I truly believe the death penalty is state sanctioned murder.  Can you tell me the difference?  If you go the christian view, which I do, then only God can pass judgement on someone.  I continue to work and pray that one day this leftover from our childhood governmental ways will pass away.  Like slavery and not allowing anyone but landed white men the franchise.
