Don't you love the Mama's and the Papa's!!! I sure do, and sometimes it expresses the day perfectly.
As for the rest of day, well it was Monday.
As always we started the day at 6 a.m. Parker did his treatments without too much fuss and I was surprised again. We had a simple breakfast of cereal and toast.
Next off to work and the drop off of Marietta at school. While this may not seem a lot to most folk, this is my daddy and daughter time on "B" block days, it is really nice and helpful. While we don't talk about a lot we do talk and that makes me happy. I guess it is true about quantity and getting the quality. On occasion I get a moment, that moment when she is my toddler again. Where she softens to that little girl walking around in my shoes, brushing back her hair. I love that little girl and she touches my heart in way's that cannot be described or even experienced by non dad's.
Work was busy and fun. Prep'd for the oncoming month and closed two JIRA ticket's. Yeah JIRA.
After work, I returned home. Doing some work on the pool.
Dinner was hamburger helper and cesaer salad. Marietta said grace, and a fine grace it was. After clean up we went to the gym. Marietta and Parker worked out great and I added some weight and reps to my routine. It was hard, but hopefully this will add to my health and my strength.
We scheduled a new session with Jen on 9/7. She is getting stronger and stronger. I love to see her growth and am amazed by it.
Parker showed me his math grade. He is going to talk with Mrs. Loewe tomorrow and find out how to make up the missed paper. He was at his Therapist and as a 504 it should be excused and made up the next day. We might have to do a little education with Mrs. Loewe.
That is about all. This is my life so far.
