Today was the last freshman volleyball game. The Austin High Maroons won 25-10, 25-9. Marietta had a great game as of course the whole team. They played really solid, and were having a great time. Unfortunately they did not play well as the 19 points scored by the other team, 11 were unforced errors by the Austin team. I find it funny that the Austin coach can be totally relaxed when the girls play poorly but win, and get upset when they are playing well but not winning. She seems to focus on the right now, and not look at the overall performance of the team. That is not a strength in coaching.
So a review of yesterday. Parker had a great morning and a great evening doing treatments. He did not complain about getting up and doing his vest and saline. We did his vest and saline at the end of the day. He did a final pulmozyne while he and I watched Red Dwarf. That was a lot of fun, as Parker enjoys watching it also. I have seen most likely 20 total episodes of the show it is nice to finally get some of the background.
Marietta again had bad dreams and required mom to sleep with her for a few hours to go to sleep. I need Susan to let her self sooth(lol). I think some of this is Marietta using her influence to get her own way. It is a bit sad that she can push Susan's buttons so easily.
On a third note, Susan's dad Dale came to the last game to watch his grand-daughter play volleyball. I believe it is the first time in 3 years he has seen a game. I am happy as his health is very frail and I know it meant a lot to both Marietta and Susan that he came to the game.
For dinner Parker had left over pasta and I had 2 chili cheeseburgers. The first one was sooo good, I fixed a second one. I should only have had one, but come on, fresh homemade chili and a cheeseburger. It was beyond tasty and required a second on. I need to learn disipline when it comes to eating. This is the first day of taking real care in my diet.
My knee is better, and hopefully it will be healthy enough for the tailgate this weekend. I need to call and talk with Craig about my igloo and if he has it, if not I am going to have to replace the lost one.
Well this is a short one. I did not have a lot happen yesterday as it was very occupied with the princesses and doing the things that one must do with children.
That is My life so far.
